Behind My lenses

I’m the Laura behind the lenses at Laura’s Lenses. I am a wedding and portrait photographer out of northwest Ohio.

I live in Tiffin, Ohio, but I frequently travel all over Ohio for photo sessions (the Hocking Hills and the Cuyahoga Valley areas are my favorite). I’ve also traveled outside of Ohio for photos from Michigan to Mississippi! I am a firm believer that you can make any location beautiful.

I’m a people person. I love getting to know people, supporting people, capturing relationships and capturing moments created by people.

I LOOOVE love! I’m a hopeless romantic at heart (even though I try to seem tough sometimes).
I refuse to get bored. I’m always up to something, from going on adventures to finding ways to make something old new again.
I’m LGBTQ+ friendly! Love is love!

I’m a musician. I’ve played violin since I was in Kindergarten and I studied music and voice while I attended Heidelberg University.
I’m a great listener. I love people and I’m always wanting to know more about them. I know when to shut up and listen and when some friendly advice is wanted.
I love traveling to new places! (I also have my passport)

Why I am a photographer

I want you to fall in love with your images. The best way I know how to do that is by making sure you aren’t worried or stressed and you’re in the moment and enjoying yourself.

I’m a photographer because I know I can make sure you have the best experience possible when getting photos and I know that I can make sure you receive the best products available.
