Shopping for a wedding dress is an important part of the wedding planning process. You want to find the perfect dress that is uniquely YOU, but you don't want to spend a crazy amount on your dress (or maybe you are on Say Yes to the Dress and you have thousands of dollars to spare, I don't judge). It's hard to find that perfect dress, but I have found the best place for you to get your dress!
What if I told you there was a place where you could get your wedding dress, save money, and do a good deed? That would be a dream, but such a place does exist! The Brides Project is a bridal salon in Ann Arbor, Michigan that does all of these things and I could not recommend this amazing place enough!
At the Brides Project, all of their dresses are donated from all across the country. Most of the donated dresses come from other bridal salons. Because of this they have tons of unique dresses, designer dresses, and a large variety of sizes. Since the dresses are all donated, the dresses are drastically knocked down in price generally ranging from $200 to $1000 with a few below or above this range. This makes The Brides Project the perfect place to find your dream dress on a budget.
What's the catch? This sounds too good to be true! I haven't even told you the best part about the Brides Project yet! The best part of The Brides Project is that the money raised from the sale of the gowns supports families touched by cancer through the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor! You can get your dress and support an amazing cause at the same time!!
I believe in this project so much that I collaborated with #HaylieStory and ZakFilms for an episode of #CitySurge about The Brides Project. Check it out! For some behind the scenes check out my gallery of photos from the day. Visit their website http://www.thebridesproject.org/ for more information!
